Emirates Launches Flight from Dubai to Auckland via Bali
Emirates has launched a new daily service from Dubai to Auckland via Bali. This offers travelers a total of three daily services to New Zealand, complementing Emirates’ daily non-stop service between Dubai and Auckland and its A380 service between Dubai and Christchurch via Sydney.
Travelers will now enjoy a choice of three daily flights between Dubai and Bali in the summer, the new flight being in addition to Emirates’ two existing daily services currently operated by a Boeing 777-300ER in a two-class configuration. The inaugural flight was greeted at Denpasar and Auckland airports with a water cannon salute.
Emirates’ new Dubai-Bali-Auckland flight provides the only daily non-stop service from Auckland to Bali all year round. The airline operates a 777-300ER on the road, offering eight seats in first position, 42 seats in business and 304 seats in economy class, as well as 20 tons of load capacity of the abdomen. The new service will also be the first Emirates Bali flight to offer passengers the first class product of the airline.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines, said: “We are very pleased to see the interest in this new route since its announcement in mid-February, reflected by strong Auckland and Bali bookings. Our global network Markets such as the UK, Europe and the Middle East have all enthusiastically responded to the new option we have proposed by opening this path: Bali and Auckland are two desirable destinations for of our customers.”
