Emirates Launches First A380 From Dubai to St Petersburg

In response to the increased demand for travel during the autumn school holidays, Emirates today announced that it will operate its A380 between Dubai and St. Petersburg, temporarily replacing the Boeing 777s currently in service.

From 25 to 29 October 2018, before school holidays in Russia, EK 175/176 flights between Dubai and Pulkovo International Airport in St. Petersburg will be operated by Admiral Emirates A380, offering 14 first-class private suites, 76 seats in business class and 429 seats in economy class. Flight EK175 will leave Dubai at 15:45 and arrive in St. Petersburg at 20:50, while the return flight, EK176, will leave St. Petersburg at 23:55 and arrive in Dubai the next morning at 6:55. *

This will be the first time an A380 will be operating in St. Petersburg, demonstrating the many works and preparations the airport has undertaken to accommodate two-story aircraft.

During this period, passengers departing from St. Petersburg will have the opportunity to experience the A380 during their journey to a wide range of tourist and business destinations on the Emirates network, including Mauritius, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Melbourne. , and others, via a seamless connection to Dubai.

Through its partnership with flydubai, Emirates also offers its St. Petersburg customers convenient and seamless access to many destinations beyond Dubai, including Zanzibar and Kathmandu.

The Emirates A380 is renowned for its first-class private suites, shower spas and onboard lounge for first-class and business-class passengers, offering a wide range of beverages and canapés, as well as space for socialize or just relax. Guests traveling on the main deck in economy class can enjoy comfortable seating with a pitch of up to 33 inches. Passengers of all classes can enjoy the award-winning in-flight entertainment system 13 times, with a choice of up to 3,500 channels on demand, including Russian content. All guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and stay connected throughout their trip. As with all Emirates flights, passengers can enjoy the maximum baggage allowance of 35 kg in economy class, 40 kg in business and 50 kg in first class. Emirates Skywards, the award-winning loyalty program, offers four membership levels – blue, silver, gold and platinum – each membership level offering exclusive privileges. Emirates operates the largest fleet of A380 aircraft with 104 aircraft in service and 58 more awaiting delivery.

St. Petersburg is known as the “Venice of the North”, offering a wide range of museums, theaters, palaces and parks. Its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Customers visiting St. Petersburg in October can also watch the visual spectacle of the opening of the Neva bridges.
